It has been a while since I have posted an update about / to the team, so here it goes.
RACE SEASON APPROACHING
The race season is fast approaching with a little over a month till Rutgers. Make sure your out on your bikes getting in those miles!! Rutgers is going to be an awesome weekend. Get pumped!!!
CLOTHING ORDER
The clothing order is in production!!! It is planned to arrive the third week in February, meaning it will be here two weeks before racing. Get pumped for them cause they are awesome!
RUDY PROJECT ORDER
Get your Rudy Project order into me ASAP as it is first come first serve and the items are going fast. Helmets and Sunglasses a ridiculously low prices.
TEAM MEETING
We will be having a team meeting very shortly to discuss the race season and other things. If you are interested in racing, make sure you attend. Email to come shortly.

Hey Everyone,
Since I have had some time over break, I decided to work on the site. I have updated sponsors minus neuvation atm. I still have to work on the images but I needed to have them up. Also, the Schedule is up and the road team roster is updated. I am still doing more work to the sight and last years roster will be available shortly. I am trying to keep on top of it and any feedback is helpful.

Hey Everyone,
So it is that time of year again. Order forms are due on Oct 15th, 2 days away. I know a fit kit was promised and it is on the way. Hopefully it will be here tomorrow. Tentatively, I am planning on having a meeting Thursday from 5 - 9 at FitRec. Come at your convenience to try on the kit, if the fit kit is here. At this meeting I will collect any outstanding forms, any dues owed and all clothing orders. Email bike@bu.edu if you need more time or can not make it then. The plan is to have the order out a.s.a.p.
If the fit kit is not here, I will be in the FitRec Lobby from 5 - 7 collecting forms of people who already know what sizes fit and what they want. The rest I will hold off until then. If you still want to order clothing, email bike@bu.edu either asking for members or non-members form. I will respond a.s.a.p.
There will be an email sent out once any/all plans are finalized so please keep an eye out for that email.
On another note: It would be nice to have as many people as possible come out for the weekend rides. It is not required by any means but if you plan on racing in the spring, it is highly recommended and you will only be better off then.

Due Date: Oct 15th (8 Days away)
A fit kit is on the way!! So what is going to happen is once the fit kit has arrived, a meeting will take place. The meeting will be an informal meeting, where you can get an update on the team (if there is anything new) and try on the fit kit. This meeting will take place ASAP so keep an eye out for the information. Unfortunately, it will probably be on a day or twos notice.
Note: Please have a general idea of the size you want. This will make trying on sizes a quick and painless process.
I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this is going to cause.
On a different note, this weekend is looking good. Come out for the rides Saturday and Sunday. More info to come later on but just make sure you are free to be there!!!

A few updates to keep you all in the loop:
1.) Dues and Forms are due, if you have not turned them in.
2.) The Clothing order is coming up soon. The fit kit has been ordered but do to administrative rules at PERD, we are not sure when it will arrive. We will have a meeting as soon as it arrives. Please have an idea of what you want to order and have everything prepared before we meet. Doing this will make the process fast and easy!

3.) Next Sunday is the skills ride. It is recommended that everyone attends this. All the skills taught here can help the inexperienced to the experienced riders. Sunday 9Am Marsh Plaza. Be There.
4.) It is great to see the number of people, grad and undergrad that have joined. If you have friends that want to join, please email us about it at bike@bu.edu.

Cycling Jersey Order forms are now available!!!
If you are a member and need a form please email bike@bu.edu with subject: Member Order Form.
If you are a non-member and are interested in purchasing clothing, email bike@bu.edu with subject: Non-Member Order Form.

If you have not turned in your membership form and medical form yet, please either arrange a time to drop it off (contact bike@bu.edu to set up a time) or deliver it to the Cycling Mail Box in the PERD Office at FitRec.
Forms are due by October 1st, this Thrusday.
If you need the forms again they can be emailed to you. Just notify bike@bu.edu.

Boston’s 5th Annual Hub On Wheels Ride is going to be taking place Sept 27th. It would be amazing if we could get a ton of people out there to volunteer. So the deal with this is:
1.) The more volunteers we provide, the more money the team gets. This money helps pay for transportation and housing on race weekends.
2.) All the details are in:
A.) They ask for us to be at Gov’t center by 7 am in order to have us out and on course in plenty of time. B.) We are going to be road marshals.Road marshals are out on the course helping the riders stay on course.
C.) Once the sweep riders (after the last riders) come through, you may join the ride doing either the 30, or 50 mile loop. It is estimated you will be back at the start by 3 pm (depending on the loop you do). Last
The plan is to meet at Marsh Plaza at 6, 6:15. We will be on the road by 6:30. The ride there isn’t far but we want to be on time (meaning early).

One final note: Saturday the 26th is the Mayor Cup Pro Crit. Go out and see it. It should be an awesome race to watch. Some of the best riders in the area are going to be racing and they are super fast. Go out and see them!!! Some of the ECCC best will be there also!

Cycling Club Members:
Our first meeting is September 24th (Thursday) at 7 pm and it is Mandatory.
This meeting will take place in FitRec in room 118, which is on the lower level (the pool level) follow signs.
Things needed for the meeting:
A.) Medical information. Everyone recieved an email with the medical form, front and back, attached. You do not need to fill out the form but just have the info (i.e. Insurance card, basic medical history). You can fill it out in advance, if you want but the form will be available at the meeting. These forms are mandatory and issued by PERD, not BU Cycling.
B.) Yourself and a positive attitude.
At the meeting we will touch upon dues, sponsorship information, team rides / responsibilities, racing, jersey orders!! And more. There will be a mountain of useful information so please make sure to attend.
Jersey order forms will be passed out along with an email on them. We will have another meeting shortly after this first and a fit kit will be provided. This will help get everyone get the right sizes.
